Indecency has her
on a roll

Changemaker. Joy spreader. Problem solver. Love warrior. Relationship builder. Story junkie. Call Mischa Duffie any of these descriptors and she will answer. What you won't call her is someone who is afraid to get in the arena for the cause of making the world a better place. At 5 feet 2 inches, Duffie is of small stature, but what she doesn't have in height, she makes up for in presence and in passion. And she brings the full vibration of both her presence and passion to whatever she puts her hands to.

Mischa Duffie is an award-winning national speaker, author, coach, broadcast journalist, mental health practitioner, and 35-year veteran in the human development industry. She is a decorated community leader and visionary whose life’s work has been helping women and girls to see the greatness within themselves. As a serial entrepreneur, The Integrity Institute, LLC marks the third company Duffie has founded. Whether through her coaching, her books, her products, or the wholehearted conversations she lovingly facilitates on her talk show, Duffie’s mission remains unchanged: helping people out of the muck and mire of what’s holding them back.

At her previous company, Greatness Now, Mischa and her team developed a glowing reputation for providing strength-based programs and instruction that was designed to improve behavioral, emotional, and social outcomes for the over 85 national corporations, educational institutions, churches, and community-based organizations they collaborated with.

As the host of THE BACK STORY on Los Angeles's KBLA TALK 1580, Mischa’s warm personality and welcoming approach to engaging in conversation not only contributed to her show being picked up for its fourth year, but has also garnered acclaimed guests such as her longtime mentor Tavis Smiley, Emmy Award winner Tabitha Brown, New York Times bestselling author and Super Soul Sunday guest Lynne Twist, Queen Sugar showrunner Anthony Sparks, comedian Luenell, actor Omar Sharif, Jr., former Good Day LA morning host Michaela Pereira, 2021 National Book Award for Fiction Winner Jason Mott, former showrunner for Law & Order: SVU Warren Leight, co-founder of Movie Pass Stacy Spikes, CBS Lead National Correspondent David Begnaud, Star Wars franchise Jar Jar Binks character Ahmed Best, and Academy Award winner and Geffen Playhouse Artistic Director Tarell Alvin McCraney.

Mischa attended Morgan State University where she majored in Social Work/Psychology. She is an active member of the National Association of Black Journalist of Los Angeles (NABJLA). She served as a founding member of the African American Board Leadership Institute (AABLI) LA Alumni Chapter. She served on the Black Girls Film Camp 2022-2023 Planning Team. And she serves as a contributing writer for the illustrious Suite Life SoCal Magazine. A lover of words and stories, this prolific author of 24 books firmly believes that very few things allow us to see the humanity of one another better than shared stories.
